Yoriko Ishizawa is a Japan-based director and producer working across art, design, craft and international cultural exchange through AOIMOK. Her practice focuses on connecting artists and designers with local industries, makers, institutions and communities, developing projects from initial research and collaboration through to production, exhibitions and public programmes.

石澤依子は、AOIMOK（アオイモック）を通じてアート、デザイン、クラフト、国際文化交流を横断して活動する、日本を拠点とするディレクター兼プロデューサーです。制作の実践は、作家やデザイナーと地域の産業、職人、機関、そしてコミュニティをつなぐことに焦点を当てており、リサーチや協働から制作、展覧会、公共プログラムまで、プロジェクトを初期段階から発展させています。

She has worked extensively between Japan and Europe, particularly in projects connecting contemporary design with Japanese craftsmanship. Since 2016, she has directed Creative Residency Arita, an international artist and designer residency based in Arita, one of Japan's historic porcelain-producing regions. Her work there has facilitated collaborations between international creatives, craftspeople, manufacturers and cultural organisations.

日本と欧州を行き来しながら、特に現代デザインと日本の工芸を結ぶプロジェクトで幅広く活動してきました。2016年より、日本の歴史的な磁器の産地である有田を拠点とした国際的なアーティスト・デザイナー・レジデンシー、クリエイティブ・レジデンシー有田をディレクションしています。そこでは、国際的なクリエイターと職人、製造業者、文化機関との協働を促進してきました。

Her experience also includes international product development, exhibitions and cultural programmes, including work with Maharam and the 2016/ Arita project. In 2026, she serves as a Director of Osaka Art & Design, a city-wide art and design programme bringing together artists, designers, companies, galleries and public spaces across Osaka.

その他にも、Maharamや2016／有田プロジェクトなど、国際的なプロダクト開発、展覧会、文化プログラムに携わってきました。2026年には、大阪市内全体を舞台にアーティスト、デザイナー、企業、ギャラリー、公共空間をつなぐ都市型アート＆デザインプログラム、大阪アート＆デザインのディレクターを務めます。

Through AOIMOK, Ishizawa works as a bridge between creative ideas and the people, places and production contexts that allow them to develop.
